Protection of the environment as a central task for the company

Pro­tec­tion of the envi­ron­ment is an impor­tant part of our cor­po­rate activ­i­ty in the FEW Auto­mo­tive Group. We are aware of our respon­si­bil­i­ty to future gen­er­a­tions, and see it as our duty to keep the effects of our actions on nature and soci­ety as low as pos­si­ble. Require­ments from the cus­tomers and leg­is­la­tion have also been inte­grat­ed into our envi­ron­men­tal strategy.

We are responsible

In order to meet our envi­ron­men­tal goals, we have cre­at­ed guide­lines which are reg­u­lar­ly checked.

• Envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion is an impor­tant exec­u­tive func­tion. Oper­a­tional sequences are con­stant­ly checked with regard to their effects on nature, and legal pro­vi­sions are adhered to.
• In pro­duc­tion, we ensure that we pre­vent neg­a­tive effects on humans and nature from the out­set and suc­ces­sive­ly min­i­mize any envi­ron­men­tal effects.
• Reli­able con­trol and mon­i­tor­ing sys­tems improve the oper­a­tional sequences and check the safe­ty of the sys­tems and the activ­i­ties of the employ­ees in terms of envi­ron­men­tal protection.
• Each and every employ­ee is respon­si­ble for achiev­ing our envi­ron­men­tal goals.

Practicing sustainability

We pay par­tic­u­lar atten­tion to man­u­fac­tur­ing lead-free sol­der­ing con­nec­tors. They are con­stant­ly being fur­ther devel­oped and improved in coop­er­a­tion with our cus­tomers. For the FEW Auto­mo­tive Group, the inter­na­tion­al envi­ron­men­tal man­age­ment stan­dard ISO 14001 is the basis for sus­tain­able action to pro­tect the environment.
